Aurora was no longer spindle-legged. Her compact figure, garbed in jeans, checkered shirt and corduroy jacket, was well-rounded. The corn-coloured hair cascaded in flouncing abandon from under the brim of a battered stetsob. She swung the hammer as a man would swing a hammer, yet she was intensly femine. Probably Aurora's most oustanding characteristic was her aggressive femininity. And 'aggressive' was not too exaggerated a term by which to describe her overall demeanour.
